The iPICK UP dog waste bags are manufactured to biodegrade by biological processes during composting to yield carbon dioxide (CO2), water, inorganic compounds and biomass leaving no toxic residue into the ground or water supply. iPICK UP dog waste bags are biodegradable and 100% certified compostable. No polyethylene is used in the manufacturing process. They are certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI) and meet ASTM D6400 specifications and California law requirements.
